A great way to use up leftover tortillas. They taste delicious and fantastic. You can play around with the spices or even just go with a little salt if you'd prefer them plain. You can also cut them into various shapes (squares, triangles or circles or use your cutter... let your imagination go. A great evening snack for the kids and its a treat to your taste buds when accompanied with Hummus.
Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 10 minutes
Serves: 4
1 Mis-En-Place: 1) Cut tortilla into 2-inch strips or use a cutter
2 Heat oven to 425° F. On 2 rimmed baking sheets, toss the tortilla strips with the oil, sesame seeds, thyme, oregano, and ½ teaspoon each salt and pepper. Bake, switching the sheets halfway through, until crisp, 5 to 7 minutes.
3 Serve the crisps with the hummus drizzled with oil and sprinkled with the paprika.
